What type of declarant should I select when I register?

When you register, you will have the choice between the following categories:

• Producer: register as an "Individual reporter actor category" and then choose "producer".

Producer category includes: manufacturers (manufacturing P&A in France) importers (imports from outside the EU); introducers (from any country of the EU); distance sellers from abroad to households (this status concerns portable and / or automotive batteries and accumulators)

• Treatment operator: register as an "Individual reporter actor category" and then choose "treatment operator"
• Appointed Person (person managing the declarations on behalf of several companies).

For producers whose batteries and accumulators are covered by a collective scheme, registration is carried out by the collective scheme. However, if you are already registered on SYDEREP, please provide your collective scheme with the SYDEREP registration number (FRXXXXXX).
