Producers (all types of B&A) - how to fill in my treatment declarations?

The declaration of the treatment for waste batteries and accumulators is available via the menu Declaration, on the page my declarations by clicking on « treatment of waste B&A » in the column type of declaration.

 

A -  First of all, you must declare the tonnage of waste batteries and accumulators that you have treated during the course of the previous year, in France or abroad:

• By country of treatment
• By type of B&A (portable, automotive, industrial)
• By nature of B&A (electrochemical pairs)
• By type of treatment, to be detailed according to the five following treatments: reuse, recycled materials, energy valorisation, or elimination (cf. the glossary at the end of this guide).

 

• Step 1 : Choose, with the help of the drop-down menu situated at the bottom of the declaration table, the country where the waste B&A was treated.
• Step 2 : Click on « add ». A table designated for the chosen country will appear in order to declare the tonnage transferred for treatment (the default country is France).
• Step 3: Within the created table, choose the tonnage of batteries and accumulators treated during the year concerned (to detail the type of treatment). A declaration line must be created for each type of nature affected.
• Repeat these three steps for each country where waste B&A are sent.
• Step 4: Save the data on treatment by clicking on the « Transmission » button, at the bottom left of the page. As for all types of declarations, modifications are possible throughout the declaration period.

 

B- Next, under the Products Generated From Treatment Process tab, (only accessible when the treatment declaration has been completed), you must declare the tonnage of products generated from the treatment of waste B&A for each declaration line:

• By type of treatment (reuse, recycled materials, energy valorisation,or elimination)
• By place of treatment (treatment operator, recycler, final destination recycling plant), by specifying the country if the treatment site is abroad (not France).

The declaration of products generated from treatment processes is accessible once the declaration of treatments of B&A for recycling companies is saved; via the window Products generated from treatment process, at the right of the window Waste treatment B&A.

• Step 1 : With the help of the drop-down menus, choose for each nature of B&A treated all products which are generated as a result. For each type of product generated, you must create a new declaration line as well as indicate the type of treatment, the treatment operator, and the tonnage produced.
• Étape 2 : Save the data by clicking on « save. » Modifications are possible throughout the declaration period.
